Karaboon Wellness

The rooms at Karaboon Wellness include standard and superior rooms, deluxe rooms, suites and family rooms. Rooms can have a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries, air conditioning, a desk, a closet, linens and free bottled water, depending on the room.

Beds are king or single, depending on the room, and some rooms have a private entrance. The Family room sleeps up to four guests, and the Family Room Family Room sleeps up to nine guests.

Karaboon Wellness has a spa and sauna on site, along with a garden and a terrace where guests can spend time outdoors. Daily housekeeping is provided, and luggage storage is available for guests who need to keep their bags while they are out.

Parking is free, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, with Wi-Fi also in public areas so guests can get online outside their rooms too. Room service is offered, and pets are allowed.

Karaboon Wellness is in the Wat Chan area of Phitsanulok, a provincial city in lower northern Thailand with many temples. Phitsanulok lies on the main road and rail line between Bangkok and Chiang Mai. The surroundings are mostly local streets and neighbourhoods, with a golf course and a boxing gym nearby, and a pagoda called Wat Nong Bua Mai is also close to the hotel, so the area has plenty of temples to visit on foot or by a short ride.

Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat, known as Wat Yai, is one of the city's main temples and lies 4.2 km away, while the Sgt. Maj. Thawee Folk Museum is 2.3 km away. Closer to the hotel, the Buranathai Buddha Casting Foundry at Cha Thavi, 2.1 km away, is where bronze Buddha images are cast. Phitsanulok Airport is 2.5 km away and the railway station 3.2 km.

A good plan for a day out starts at Wat Yai, moves on to the casting foundry and the folk museum, and ends at the Phitsanulok Night Bazaar in the evening. The area also has a pagoda and a church close to the hotel, so a walk around the neighbourhood is an easy addition to the day.
