A good day could start on the sand at Karon, then continue by road to the Big Buddha and Wat Chalong, and end at the Karon Night Market. Phuket International Airport, 31 km away, is reached by road, so the trip from the airport to the hotel needs no boat. The FantaSea evening show makes a full evening out for those who want to stay on the island's bigger attractions.
