The rooms at Kanlaya Park Koh Samui Resort measure between 29 and 45 m² and sleep up to four guests. Some rooms have a city view, others a garden view, and the bed set-ups vary between the rooms. The One Bedroom Bungalow has a separate dining area, a sofa, a kitchenette and a balcony or terrace.

Fisherman's Village, 5.1 km away in Bophut, is a harbour area of shops and restaurants that is good for an evening stroll. The Big Buddha, a large seated statue on a hill, is 8 km away, and Wat Plai Laem, known for its large Guanyin statue, is another temple worth visiting. The Na Muang Waterfall, 11.3 km away, lies inland and can be reached by road through the island's interior.

A good day starts with time on Mae Nam Beach, continues with lunch and a walk around Fisherman's Village, and ends with a visit to the Big Buddha before heading back to the hotel. Most sights are reached by road, so a scooter, a car or a taxi is the usual way to get around. The inland waterfalls suit a slower day with a walk through the forest.
