Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), one of the best-known Buddhist temples on the island, is a longer trip. The Big Buddha, a large statue on a hilltop, is 13.7 km away and gives views across the island.

A morning on the sand at Kamala Beach can be followed by an afternoon at Phuket FantaSea, or a trip further afield to the Big Buddha, which is 13.7 km away.
