Phuket FantaSea, a theme park with a large cultural show, is 1.9 km away, and Patong Beach, with its bars and restaurants, is 4.1 km.

A car is useful for reaching the wider island, and Phuket International Airport is 19.2 km away, so the free parking is worth using. The route between the beaches and the temples is by road, so a car or scooter makes the day simpler. A day could start at Kamala Beach, continue to Wat Chalong, the best-known temple on Phuket, and the Big Buddha, a large white statue on a hill near Chalong, and end at Phuket FantaSea.
