Kamala Apartments

The area has a local feel rather than the bustle of the island's busiest resort strip, and the kitchens in the apartments make it practical to cook at home between days out.

Phuket FantaSea, a large cultural theme park with an evening show, is 600 m away. Patong Beach, one of the best-known beaches on the island, is 5.1 km away, and Karon and Kata beaches lie further along the coast. Jungceylon Shopping Center, the large shopping centre in Patong, is useful for shopping. Big Buddha Phuket, a large hilltop statue, is 14.1 km away, and Phuket International Airport (HKT) is 17.8 km away.

A day could take in the Big Buddha and a stop at Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, a well-known temple in the south of the island. The afternoon can be spent on the beaches, and the evening at the night market or at the shows of Phuket FantaSea. Those evening shows make a lively night out with children, and the Big Buddha is a calmer morning visit.
