The beach is the nearest stretch of sand, and the road behind it is lined with street-food stalls and massage shops, so the area keeps going well into the evening.

Bangla Road, the nightlife street with bars and open-air clubs, is 2.1 km away, and the Jungceylon Shopping Center is close by. The Big Buddha Phuket, a large Buddha statue on a hilltop, is 9.6 km away, and Phuket International Airport is 22.1 km from the hotel. Longer trips, such as the run to the airport, are best covered by taxi.

One full day could easily combine Kalim Beach with a trip to the Big Buddha on its hilltop in the afternoon, then an evening at the night market in Patong. The night market is 2.2 km from the hotel, so it fits into an evening out. A quieter alternative is a morning at the beach with an afternoon by the outdoor pool at the hotel.
