k4 be chill

The whole of k4 be chill is one 380 m² home with three bedrooms and four bathrooms, sleeping up to 15 guests. Bed set-ups include queen beds, king beds and a sofa bed, so it can take a large group in more than one arrangement.

Air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a hair dryer come with the home, which also has a kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave and stove.

The kitchen has a refrigerator, a freezer, a microwave and a stove, plus cookware, oils, condiments, dishes and dining utensils, so cooking at home is straightforward.

For everyday needs there is a washer, an iron, linens, towels and toiletries, with a hair dryer as well. The home also has keyless access and a private entrance, a desk or workspace, a sound system, and a TV with video streaming services, so the evenings can be spent indoors.

Wongwian Yai is on the Thonburi side of the Chao Phraya River, the western bank that served as Siam's capital for a short spell in the late 18th century. The streets here are quieter than the busy east bank, with residential lanes, canals and temple compounds, which suits anyone who wants a whole home rather than a hotel room in a crowded district.

Wongwian Yai BTS Station is 650 m from the property, and the BTS network connects the area to the rest of the city. Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, is 2.7 km away, and the Grand Palace, with the Temple of the Emerald Buddha inside its walls, is 3.3 km away. Asiatique - The Riverfront, a riverside shopping and entertainment complex, is 1.9 km away.

For a full day of sightseeing, start with the temples and palace in the old city, then return to the quieter Thonburi streets in the evening. Khaosan Road, the backpacker street with its bars and street food, is 4.3 km away when you want something livelier. The reclining Buddha at Wat Phra Chetuphon, one of the largest temples in the old city, is another stop on that route. Evenings are quieter on this side of the river, which is useful after a full day of sightseeing.
