Bang Niang is a village on the Khao Lak coast of Phangnga province, on the Andaman side of southern Thailand. Bang Niang Beach is the nearest beach to the hostel, and the streets behind it mix small hotels and guesthouses with village houses. The coast road is the main link between the villages, and the Bang Niang area sits between the sea and the hills.
