Chaithararam Temple, also known as Wat Chalong, is one of the island's most important Buddhist temples and lies 6.1 km from the hotel. The Big Buddha statue on a hilltop is 7.5 km away, and Wat Suwan Khiriwong, a temple with a pagoda, is 750 m from JZ Patong. The Banzaan Fresh Market is in the same neighbourhood, so the local market is a short distance from the hotel.

Phuket International Airport is 24 km from the hotel, and the trip from there continues by road, usually by taxi or car. For a day out, you can combine the beaches of Kata and Karon, both reached by road, with a visit to the Big Buddha and the temples in the afternoon.
