The streets nearby are lined with small shops and food stalls, and the area is lively in the evening, with the night bazaar a short ride away.

The markets are close by: Kim Yong Market and Santisuk Market are both a short walk away, and Hat Yai Railway Station is 400 m from the guest house. Wat Hat Yai Nai, a Buddhist temple 1.7 km away, is worth a visit, and the Asean Night Bazaar, 2.1 km away, is where food stalls and shops stay busy after dark. Hat Yai International Airport is 11.5 km away.

A good day could start at one of the morning markets, then take in Hat Yai Municipal Park and the Magic Eye 3D Museum before the evening at the night bazaar. Trains from the railway station connect the city with other parts of southern Thailand, and the night bazaar is the place to end the day.
