Chaithararam Temple, better known as Wat Chalong, is one of Phuket's most important Buddhist temples and lies 5.5 km away. Phuket International Airport is 25.6 km away, and taxis and songthaews run along the main roads for shorter trips.

A good day out combines Wat Chalong with the Big Buddha, a large white statue on a hill with wide views over the island, 6.2 km from the hotel. In the evening, Phuket FantaSea, a cultural theme park with a show, makes a different kind of outing, and a walk along Patong Beach makes a relaxed end to the day. For a quieter afternoon on the sand, Karon Beach and Kata Beach lie further south along the coast.
