J. Mansion

The rooms at J. Mansion come in a few sizes and bathroom arrangements. Some are 12 m² or 16 m² rooms with a shared bathroom, a fan and towels, while the 24 m² standard rooms have a private bathroom with a bathtub. The Standard Double also has a mountain view, and the Standard Twin has air conditioning.

One 12 m² room with a shared bathroom combines a single bed with a bunk bed and sleeps up to three guests. Refrigerators, desks and blackout curtains feature in several rooms, and some include a TV. Towels and a fan come with the shared-bathroom rooms, and the standard rooms have blackout curtains.

Rooms can have a mosquito net and a private bathroom with a shower, and the hotel offers daily housekeeping, laundry service, dry cleaning and ironing. Safety deposit boxes are available, and express check-in and check-out are offered.

For getting around, the hotel offers an airport transfer, a shuttle service and car hire, and tours can be arranged. Business facilities are also available, and English and Thai are spoken. Family rooms are also offered, and car hire is available for trips further afield.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and there is Wi-Fi in public areas too. Paid parking is available on site, and non-smoking rooms are offered alongside a smoking area.

J. Mansion is in Ao Nang, a beach town on the coast of Krabi province in southern Thailand. Its streets are lined with hotels, restaurants and small shops, and in the evening the roads fill with food stalls and night markets. The area is well suited to beach days and boat trips, with limestone scenery around it, and Krabi International Airport is 19.2 km away.

Noppharathara Beach is 900 m from the property, and the Ao-Nang Landmark Night Market is 800 m away, where evening stalls sell street food and local goods. Railay Beach is reached by longtail boat and is known for its limestone cliffs and beaches, while Poda Island and Tup Island are common day trips from the piers. Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea) sits inland and is reached by road. Krabi Town, the provincial capital, is also reached by road from Ao Nang.

A day could begin with a walk along Noppharathara Beach, then a boat trip from the pier to one of the islands, and the evening could end at the night market. Long-tail boats leave from the piers along the coast for the Phi Phi Islands, a popular day trip from Ao Nang. Boat trips are sometimes cancelled when the sea is rough.
