Rooms at J Apartment measure from 18 to 28 m² and sleep from one to three guests. Rooms can have air conditioning, a fan, a refrigerator, a desk, a shower and satellite or cable channels, and several rooms have a balcony or terrace.

Beds include single beds, double beds and a queen bed, and rooms take up to three guests. Daily housekeeping is provided every day, and dry cleaning and a laundry service are also offered for guests who need them. Several rooms also have satellite or cable channels, so guests can watch television in their room during the evening.

Ao Nang is a busy beach town on the Andaman coast of Krabi province, with limestone cliffs rising behind the bay and a main beach lined with tour offices, guesthouses and street-food stalls. The beach is 1.7 km from the apartment, so the sea, the boat trips and the evening strip are all close to the same stay.

The islands are the main reason many people stay here. Railay, 2.9 km away, can only be reached by boat, and its limestone cliffs and beaches draw day trippers from all over the bay. Poda Island, 7.7 km away, is known for its beaches and snorkelling. Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), 13.6 km away, is a hillside temple with a long staircase and shrines set inside a cave. Krabi International Airport is 17.4 km away, so the first part of any trip is a transfer by road.

A good day starts with a longtail boat to Railay from the pier at Ao Nang and ends back on Ao Nang Beach in the evening. Boat trips can be cancelled when the sea is rough, so it helps to keep the island day flexible and to leave room in the plan for a slower afternoon in town.
