Island Spa Resort

The rooms at Island Spa Resort measure between 35 and 48 m² and sleep one to four guests. Rooms can have air conditioning, a seating area with a sofa, a shower and toiletries, and several of them open onto a balcony or terrace. Views vary: some rooms face the garden, one has a beach view and another looks onto the street.

Beds include a king bed, single beds and double beds, and one room offers a choice of bed set-ups. Some rooms have a bathtub, and the room with a beach view also has a coffee and tea maker and a refrigerator. Rooms with a private entrance open directly from outside, and the rooms with a balcony or terrace have space to sit outdoors.

Island Spa Resort is in Sairee, the main beach village on Ko Tao, a small island in the Gulf of Thailand known for diving. The beach is lined with bars, dive schools and small shops, and the mood is lively in the evenings, while the bays further along the coast are quieter. The resort is 50 m from the sand, with the bars and dive schools a short stroll away.

Sairee Viewpoint is 1.3 km away, and it gives a view over the bay and Koh Nang Yuan. Ao Tanote Beach is a quieter bay 2.5 km away, and Koh Nang Yuan, a small islet, is 2.9 km away and reached by boat. Samui Airport is 66 km away across the water on Ko Samui, so the last part of the journey to Ko Tao is by boat.

Ko Tao is a place for snorkelling, diving and boat trips, and the sea sets the pace of the day. In the rainy months the sea can be rougher and boat schedules can change. A morning walk to the viewpoint and an afternoon at Ao Tanote Beach make a simple day, with Koh Nang Yuan a short boat trip further out, so the day can stay close to the beach and the bay.
