Isara Lanta Beach Resort

The rooms at Isara Lanta Beach Resort are bungalows and standard rooms, with space for two to four guests. Several have a double bed, and some have air conditioning and a window that opens.

A couple can choose the 20 m² Standard Room or the 22 m² Superior Bungalow, while a group of up to four can book the 25 m² Deluxe Bungalow.

The restaurant and bar are on site. Asian, international and Western cuisine is served in the restaurant, with vegetarian dishes, and alcohol is available. Breakfast can be ordered à la carte or eaten as a restaurant breakfast, and lunch and dinner are served too.

Practical services include an airport transfer, with tours and ticket services offered as well, plus luggage storage, private check-in and check-out, daily housekeeping and laundry service. There is also a terrace and a shared lounge with a TV area.

Free Wi-Fi covers all rooms, and there is also internet access and Wi-Fi in the public areas. On-site parking is available. The resort is cat-friendly and dog-friendly, pets are allowed, service animals are welcome, and English and German are spoken.

Isara Lanta Beach Resort is in Baan Klong Khong, a village on Koh Lanta, the long island off the coast of Krabi province in the Andaman Sea. The village sits close to the sea, and Khlong Khong Beach, the nearest beach, is 350 m from the resort. Village houses, small shops and a few bars make up the immediate area, and the way to the sand passes through everyday village life.

Long Beach, a long stretch of sand elsewhere on the island, is 3 km away, and Lanta Old Town, with its local shops and restaurants, is a worthwhile stop. Khao Mai Kaew Cave and Khlong Chak Waterfall are other sights on the island. The nearest airport is Krabi International Airport, 59 km away on the mainland, and the last stage of the journey to Koh Lanta is by boat.

A good day could start on Khlong Khong Beach, continue to Long Beach and end with a stroll through Lanta Old Town. For a longer outing, Mu Ko Lanta National Park, a protected area with forest trails and beaches, is 13.2 km from the resort, and a car or scooter is useful to reach it. Rough seas can disrupt boat trips to and from the mainland during the rainy season.
