Isara Boutique Hotel and Cafe

Air conditioning is standard in every room at Isara Boutique Hotel and Cafe. The rooms cover from 14 m² up to 60 m², and they sleep between two and five guests. Some rooms have a city view and others overlook the pool. Several rooms include a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries.

The Family Room and the Suite with Balcony face the city. The Villa and the Private Pool Villa both have a pool view, and the Villa also has its own private pool. For some room types an extra sofa bed is available on request, with an additional charge for guests who need one.

Isara Boutique Hotel and Cafe is in Talat Nuea, the old part of Phuket where Sino-Portuguese shophouses, small museums and temples sit close together on narrow streets. The area is a walkable place to see the island's history, with a calmer pace than the busy beach strips further out.

Within 200 m of the hotel are the Wat Kajorn Rangsan temple and the Phuket Downtown Market, while the Phuket Thai Hua Museum is 100 m away and the Blue Elephant Phuket Cooking School, which runs Thai cooking classes in a restored Sino-Portuguese mansion, is 150 m away. The old town is walkable from the hotel, while Wat Chalong, one of the island's most important temples, is 6.9 km away and Patong Beach, with its lively strip of bars and restaurants, is 10 km away, both easier to reach by car or taxi.

A good day begins with a walk through the old town, visiting the museums and Wat Kajorn Rangsan, followed by a Thai cooking class at the Blue Elephant school. In the afternoon, Wat Chalong or a trip to Patong Beach makes a fuller day across the island, and the evening can be spent back in the old town among its quieter streets.
