iSanook Bangkok

The rooms at iSanook Bangkok range from studios and junior suites to suites and a family suite of 65 m². Several rooms have a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels, and some of the suites have a city view. Air conditioning is part of the equipment in a number of rooms.

The Junior Suite has a bunk bed and a king bed for up to four guests, and the Studio offers a choice of bed set-ups. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

iSanook Bangkok is on Soi Songphra, off Siphraya Road in Silom, in the Bang Rak district of central Bangkok. The streets around it mix office towers, older shophouses and small temples, and Chinese shrines sit alongside the business blocks, so the district has a lived-in feel rather than a purely commercial one. It suits visitors who want to be in the middle of the city and still reach the old quarters with little effort.

The hotel is a short distance from Hua Lamphong, the city's main railway station, and Hua Lamphong MRT station is 750 m away, with Sam Yan MRT station also nearby. Sam Yan Market, a busy traditional market, is 550 m away, and the Yaowarat Chinatown Heritage Center, a museum on the history of Bangkok's Chinatown, is close by. The Jim Thompson House, a historic teak house that was the home of the Thai silk entrepreneur Jim Thompson, is 2 km away.

A good day could start at Wat Maha Phruettharam Worawihan and the Bangkok Folk Museum, then continue by boat from Si Phraya Pier, 1 km away, upriver toward the Grand Palace, which is 3.8 km from the hotel. Wat Arun stands on the opposite bank of the river, so the riverside temples can be visited in a single trip.
