Siam Paragon, a large shopping centre in the Siam area, is 2.1 km away, and Jim Thompson House, the teak residence of the American silk entrepreneur that is now a museum, is a short distance further. Wat Arun, the Temple of the Dawn on the Chao Phraya riverbank, is one of the city's best-known sights.

A good day could begin at Jim Thompson House and continue to Siam Paragon, then return by Skytrain to Nana. On a weekend, the Chatuchak Weekend Market, 6.2 km away, is worth the trip, and the Grand Palace, 6.8 km away in the Old City, is one of the city's great sights. For flights, Suvarnabhumi Airport is 22 km away.
