Intown Residence

The rooms at Intown Residence include a 25 m² Superior Twin Room, a 22 m² superior Double room, a 24 m² Art Boutique Twin Room and a 26 m² Superior Triple Room, each with its own bed set-up. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

Some of the rooms sleep up to five or six guests, so a larger party can stay together. Air conditioning and blackout curtains are among the comforts in some rooms, and the Superior Triple Room has a futon alongside its two single beds.

The hotel has a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, daily housekeeping, 24-hour security and an elevator. The property is wheelchair accessible, and it has a garden.

Chareon Krung Road runs through Bangrak, one of Bangkok's older riverside districts on the east bank of the Chao Phraya, where shophouses, narrow lanes and temples sit close to the water. The area has a quieter, older feel than the big shopping districts further inland, and it keeps you close to the river and to the city's historic quarters. Many of the side streets can be explored on foot, and the riverfront gives a view of the boats on the water and of the old buildings on both banks.

Si Phraya Pier is 300 m away, where river ferries run along the Chao Phraya, and Wat Arun, the temple with its tall prang, is 3.3 km away on the opposite bank. The Grand Palace is 3.5 km away, and Charoen Nakhon BTS station is 800 m from the hotel, with Hua Lamphong MRT station nearby for trains across the city. For the sights further afield, the river and taxis are the practical choices.

A good day starts with a river boat from Si Phraya Pier, then a walk through the lanes of Talad Noi, where Assumption Cathedral and the Talad Noi Museum are close by. In the afternoon, the riverside paths offer a slower pace than the Grand Palace area, and late afternoon is a good time to walk the riverfront and watch the ferries. In the evening the river is the easiest place to end the day.
