The bay is a common base for day trips by boat to the limestone islands, and the Mountain Buddha Temple, a hilltop pagoda, lies in the same area.

Ao Nang Beach is 4.5 km from the villa, and the piers of Ao Nang are the starting point for boat trips. Railay, with its limestone cliffs and beaches, is usually reached by longtail boat from Ao Nang and sits 6.5 km away. Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), a hillside temple reached by a long flight of stairs, is 11.7 km away, and Krabi International Airport (KBV) is 16.6 km from the villa.

A day could start with a boat trip to Poda Island or Tup Island from the Ao Nang piers, followed by an afternoon on Noppharat Thara Beach, one of the beaches on the Ao Nang side of the bay. Back on land, the Ao-Nang Landmark Night Market is 4 km from the villa and makes a good stop for an evening stroll.
