The accommodation is a 200 m² unit that sleeps up to nine guests and offers a choice of bed set-ups. The room has air conditioning, a TV with satellite and cable channels, a hair dryer, a coffee and tea maker and a private entrance, and toiletries and towels are provided.

Complimentary instant coffee and tea are provided, and free Wi-Fi is available for the stay. The unit is self-contained, with its own entrance and space to spread out, and guests can make their own drinks with the coffee and tea maker.

Betong is a hill town in Yala province, in the far south of Thailand, close to the Malaysian border. The surrounding area is known for its cool air, rolling hills and forests, and the town makes a base for travellers who want hill and forest scenery rather than a beach stay. The clock tower, the temple and the market all sit within about a kilometre of the property, so the town is easy to explore on foot.

Around the property, the clock tower is 700 m away and the Wat Phutthathiwat temple is 850 m away, while the Betong District Municipality Fresh Market, 950 m off, sells fresh produce. The World's largest mailbox, 1.3 km away, is a quirky landmark, and the sign marking the southernmost point of historic Siam is 5.5 km out.

A day here can start at the fresh market, then continue to the clock tower and the temple on foot, with the hills and forest as the backdrop. The southernmost sign is worth a drive out of town, and the surrounding hills make the journey part of the trip.
