The setting fits a stay built around the sea, with the island's bars and nightlife nearby.

Wat Pho, a Buddhist pagoda 900 m away, is one of several temples in the area, and Wat Nai is another nearby. The Night Market, 800 m from the property, sells food and everyday goods in the evening. Haad Rin Nai, 3.8 km away, is the beach where the full moon parties take place, so the island's best-known nightlife is nearby. Samui Airport is 16.8 km away on Koh Samui, across the water, so the journey from the airport ends with a boat crossing, and Surat Thani Airport is further away on the mainland.

For a day out, swim at Haad Baan Kai, visit Wat Pho, and walk to the night market once the sun goes down. Snorkelling and canoeing are offered at the property, and tours can be arranged for trips further afield.
