The rooms at Indra Regent Hotel range from 24 m² studios to the 160 m² Residence Suite, and sleeping capacity runs from one guest to five. Several rooms have a city view, a street view is offered from one studio, and the Family Suite and Residence Suite have a separate shower and bathtub.

The Superior Room and the Deluxe Room each measure 32 m² and sleep up to five guests. The Family Suite and the Residence Suite each sleep up to four guests and come with bathrobes. Several rooms offer a choice of bed set-ups, and the Studio Room measures 24 m².

Indra Regent Hotel stands on Ratchaprarop Road in Pratunam, one of central Bangkok's busiest shopping districts, where clothing markets and tailors fill the streets around it. The Airport Rail Link Ratchaprarop Station is 150 m from the hotel, with a rail line that runs to Suvarnabhumi Airport and into the city. The street life here is lively from morning to night, with street-food stalls as well as shopping.

The Siam Paragon shopping centre is 1 km away, and the Jim Thompson House, a teak house museum showing Thai silk and art, is 1.5 km away. Baiyoke II Tower, with an observation deck above the city, is also a short distance from the hotel, and Pratunam Market is a clothing market in the same district. The Grand Palace is 5.4 km away, in Bangkok's old city, where the Temple of the Emerald Buddha stands inside the palace complex.

A full day could start with the clothing stalls of Pratunam, then move to the Siam shopping malls and the Jim Thompson House in the afternoon. The Chatuchak Weekend Market, a huge market with thousands of stalls, is open at weekends and is best planned as a separate outing on a day of its own.
