The Bang O MRT Station is 750 m away, and the Bang Pho MRT Station is close by too, which connects the area with the rest of the city. Bang Po Pier, 600 m away, is a ferry terminal on the Chao Phraya, and the Chatuchak Weekend Market is 3.9 km away, a large market that runs at weekends. Free parking is available on site for guests who travel by car.

A good day here could combine the Chatuchak market at the weekend with an afternoon among the temples and palaces near the river, such as the Grand Palace, 6.5 km away, and Wat Arun on the riverside. Khaosan Road, the lively street of guesthouses and night stalls in the old city, makes a very different evening from the quieter riverside streets around the house, and it is worth a visit after a day at the temples.
