I'm Chinatown Residence (Yaowarat)

The whole residence is one apartment of 25 m², with a double bed for up to two guests, its own bathroom, air conditioning, a desk, a closet and a clothes dryer. Toiletries and a hair dryer are provided, and free Wi-Fi is available.

Because the whole residence is let as one apartment, guests have all of it to themselves.

The residence has an elevator, 24-hour security and keyless access. Free parking is available for guests who arrive by car.

The apartment is fitted with a freezer, a microwave and a refrigerator, and body wash, toiletries and a hair dryer are provided. Free Wi-Fi is available, and a wired internet connection is also there for guests who prefer it. Between the elevator, the keyless entry and the 24-hour security, the residence keeps its everyday services simple and easy to use from arrival to departure.

Yaowarat is Bangkok's Chinatown, a dense quarter of shophouses, shrines and temples on the Samphanthawong side of the Chao Phraya river. Charoen Krung Road, one of the city's oldest streets, runs through the district, and the area is best explored on foot, especially in the evening when the street food stalls open along Yaowarat Road. It is a neighbourhood for wandering rather than sitting still, and its streets are at their liveliest after dark.

Wat Mangkon MRT station is 200 m from the apartment, giving a metro link to the rest of the city, and Yaowarat Road is also close by. Talat Kao, the old market, lies within the same grid of streets, while Wat Traimit, the temple of the solid-gold Buddha, is 500 m away. Across the river, Wat Arun sits on the Thonburi bank, and the Grand Palace is 2.3 km from the apartment, so the royal sights are a short ride away.

A good day starts at the temple of the solid-gold Buddha in the morning, then a walk along Yaowarat Road to the old market at Talat Kao, with the street food stalls in the evening. For a longer trip, the Chatuchak Weekend Market is 7.6 km away.
