Further afield, the Big Buddha stands on a hilltop 6.7 km away, and Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is 6 km away and is one of Phuket's most revered temples. Phuket International Airport is 25.1 km away, and the journey from there to Patong is by road.
