A good day could begin at Wang Suan Phakkat, continue by Skytrain to the Siam shopping area, and end at the Jim Thompson House Museum to see its teakwood house and Thai silk. For a bigger day out, the Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of the largest markets in Bangkok, is a longer trip across the city.
