I Love Khaokho Resort

Every room at I Love Khaokho Resort has a mountain view, and the rooms are without air conditioning. The standard room sleeps up to three guests and the family room up to six.

Rooms are fitted with fans, mosquito nets, blackout curtains and free bottled water, and each has a private bathroom. The family room also has a balcony or terrace with a seating area. Because the rooms have no air conditioning, the fans provide the cooling.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and parking at the resort is free. The restaurant serves an Asian breakfast and a buffet breakfast, and the grounds include a garden, hiking and shops. Breakfast is served at the restaurant on site, which is open to guests of the resort.

An airport transfer is offered for arrivals, and a taxi service is also available. The resort has meeting and banquet facilities, daily housekeeping and 24-hour security on the property.

Pets weighing under 10 kilograms are allowed, and the resort is dog-friendly; pets are also allowed in the rooms. Cooking is not permitted at the property, and English and Thai are spoken on site.

Khao Kho is a highland area in Phetchabun province, in the hills of central Thailand, where the air is cooler than on the plains below and the landscape is made up of hills, forest and small villages. The resort is in the Nong Mae Na area, and the village of Ban Saliang Haeng, 1.4 km away, is among the closest settlements.

The Itthi Artillery Support Base Museum, a military museum 4.2 km away, is one of the sights of the area, and the Sridit Waterfall lies 5.9 km off among the hills. The Khao Kho Sacrifice Monument and a hillside viewpoint with parking, 7.2 km away, are also nearby, and the village of Ban Khong Niam, 3.6 km away, is also among the nearby settlements.

A good day could start with a walk around the resort garden, then a drive to the Sridit Waterfall and on to the viewpoint for the views over the hills, with the Itthi museum as an afternoon stop before returning to the resort in the evening.
