The nearest beach is 100 m away, and Kamala Night Market is 1.9 km away for evening food and shopping. Phuket FantaSea, a cultural theme park with a night show, is a short ride away, and Wat Chalong, the best-known temple on the island, is also reachable. Karon Beach and Kata Beach lie further along the coast, and they are reached by road in a longer trip than the walk to the nearest beach.

Phuket International Airport is 18.7 km away, and the resort offers an airport transfer. For a day out, combine Wat Chalong and the Big Buddha in the morning, then return to Kamala for the beach in the afternoon and walk to the night market in the evening. The Phuket FantaSea show is also a good choice for an evening out, and the day can end with a meal back at the resort.
