Phloen Chit BTS Station is 600 m from the hotel and Nana BTS Station is 800 m, both on the Sukhumvit line. Siam Paragon, a large shopping centre, is 1.9 km away, and the Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of Bangkok's best-known weekend markets, is 5.8 km away. Nana Nuea Pier and the Wat Dit Hongsaram pagoda are both within a few hundred metres. Around the two BTS stations the Sukhumvit area has a wide choice of places to eat, so you rarely need to go far for a meal.

A good first day is the Grand Palace, 6.7 km away, where the Temple of the Emerald Buddha sits inside the same complex. Afterwards you can head to the riverfront at Asiatique, or visit the Jim Thompson House, the former home of the American silk entrepreneur Jim Thompson, which is a short trip from the Siam area.
