Hotel Verdigris

Hotel Verdigris has single rooms, twin and king-bed rooms, standard rooms and junior suites. Most rooms have a private bathroom with toiletries, towels and a hair dryer, and several rooms also have a telephone and a streaming service such as Netflix.

The junior suite with a private pool measures 54 m² and sleeps up to three guests. The standard room measures 22 m² and has a queen bed, and the single rooms are for one guest. Some rooms have a city view or a courtyard view, and a few rooms have air conditioning. Bathrobes, toiletries and towels are part of the bathroom in several rooms, and a hair dryer is provided in most of them.

It is a good fit for those who want to be among the island's historic streets rather than on a beach, since the coast is 10 km or more away. The island is linked to the mainland by a road bridge, so arriving by road is straightforward.

Phuket Old Town and Thalang Road are about 500 m from the hotel. The Peranakan Museum, which shows the heritage of the Peranakan community, and the Phuket Thai Hua Museum, on the history of the island's Chinese community, are close by, and the Blue Elephant Phuket Cooking School is in the same neighbourhood. Sanjao Sam San, a Chinese temple, is also within walking distance of the old town streets.

Phuket International Airport is 26.3 km away, and the Phuket Town local bus station is 1.1 km from the hotel. For a day in town, walk the old town's Sino-Portuguese streets, visit the museums and end at the Lard Yai Sunday Night Market, where street food stalls set up in the evening on Sundays.
