Suan Pakkad Palace, a complex of traditional Thai houses set in gardens, is a short walk from the hotel, and the Chatuchak Weekend Market, a large market open at weekends, is reached from the city by the BTS Skytrain. Siam, the main shopping and entertainment district of central Bangkok, is also reached by the BTS.

A good day could start at Suan Pakkad Palace and the Jim Thompson House, then continue by taxi to the riverside at Wat Arun and the Asiatique riverfront in the evening. The Airport Rail Link station is 50 m from the hotel, and the line runs to Suvarnabhumi Airport, 24.5 km away, for guests arriving by air.
