Patong's OTOP Market, 250 m from the hotel, sells Thai food products, crafts and souvenirs, and Jungceylon Shopping Center, a large shopping mall, is close by. Freedom Beach, a quieter sandy beach 2.7 km away, is a calmer alternative to the busier sands in town, and it is a short ride from the central beaches. Other beaches on the island are reached by road from Patong. The Big Buddha Phuket, 7.1 km away, sits on a hilltop, and Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), 6.5 km away, is one of Phuket's most revered Buddhist temples.

A day could start at Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong) and the Big Buddha, then continue to Freedom Beach for a quieter afternoon before returning to Patong for dinner and a walk along Bangla Road. The hotel is a practical base for both the temples and the beaches on the island.
