Horizon Beach Resort Koh Jum

Every room at Horizon Beach Resort Koh Jum has a shower, toiletries, a hair dryer, a mirror, a telephone and free Wi-Fi. The two bungalows measure 24 m² and have a queen bed for two guests, while the deluxe rooms have king beds and sea or partial sea views.

The Superior Family room measures 88 m² and sleeps four guests, with a king bed and two single beds. The Family Beachfront and Family Room, both 75 m², also sleep four guests and have air conditioning. The Superior Family room also has an ocean view. Most rooms have air conditioning and a private entrance.

The resort has a restaurant, a coffee shop and a kitchen. Guests can also use the garden, and a shuttle service and an airport transfer are available, both at an additional charge. The property is smoke-free, and English and Thai are spoken.

Koh Jum is an island in the Andaman Sea, off Krabi province, and the villages and beaches here sit close together. Horizon Beach Resort Koh Jum is near the village of Ao Si, with Ao Thidiaw Beach 350 m away and Ao Si Beach 500 m, so the beach is close by. The garden-view rooms look over the resort's gardens, while the sea-view rooms face the water.

Koh Jum is reached by boat, so the final stretch of the trip is by sea. The Koh Jum pier, the island's ferry terminal, is 4.1 km from the resort. Sunset Beach lies further along the coast, 2.6 km away, and Khao Ko Pu, the peak on neighbouring Koh Pu, is another landmark. A Buddhist temple with a pagoda stands 4.5 km from the resort. The pagoda makes an easy stop between beach visits.

A day out can start at Ao Thidiaw Beach and continue to Sunset Beach. Lu Boa Beach is also further along the coast, and the villages nearby, such as Ao Si and Ao Ting Rai, give a glimpse of island life away from the beach. Rough sea can disrupt boat crossings, so allow some flexibility on arrival and departure days.
