Nana BTS station is 400 m from the hotel and Asok BTS station is 500 m away, so the Skytrain is the simplest way to reach the shopping and business areas of Sukhumvit and Siam. Jim Thompson House, a museum of Thai silk set in restored teak houses, is about 3.3 km away. Chatuchak Weekend Market, a large weekend market with clothing, crafts and food stalls, is 7 km away, while the Grand Palace is in the old city and Wat Arun stands on the opposite bank of the Chao Phraya.

A good day can start with the Jim Thompson House, then turn to the Grand Palace and Wat Arun in the old city, which take longer to reach from here. Plan the route in advance, since the old city and the riverside sights are spread out over several kilometres, and the Skytrain is best for getting back to Sukhumvit. For weekend shopping, Chatuchak Weekend Market is the place to go.
