Kamala Mosque is 350 m away and the Kamala Night Market 850 m, while Phuket FantaSea, a theme park known for its cultural shows, is 1.1 km off. Patong Beach, Phuket's best-known beach and nightlife area, is 4.6 km away, and Phuket International Airport is 18.3 km.

A day could combine the beach at Kamala with a visit to Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), one of Phuket's most revered temples, and the white Big Buddha on its hilltop. Each of these sights is a different side of the island. For livelier evenings, Patong is the busier alternative, while Kamala keeps a slower pace, and a day can be split between the beach at Kamala and the temples and viewpoints further inland, with the villa as the base for both, and the island's main roads make each trip straightforward.
