A good day could start at Phaya Thai Palace and the temple of Wat Aphai Thayaram, followed by a Skytrain ride to the shopping malls of Siam. The Chatuchak Weekend Market is worth a visit on a Saturday or Sunday, and the Grand Palace is 5.3 km away for the Thai royal temple complex. Between the museums, the temples and the markets, the area gives a full day without much planning, and the hotel is a practical base for it.
