Klong Dao Beach lies along the same coast, and the Monday Market, held once a week, is 1.1 km away. Mu Ko Lanta National Park, which covers forest and coastline on the island, is 17.9 km away, and the Khlong Chak Waterfall is inside it. The island is reached by ferry from the mainland, and Krabi International Airport, the nearest airport, is 53.8 km away on the mainland. Bicycle rental is offered at the hotel for shorter trips.

A day could start on Long Beach and continue to Mu Ko Lanta National Park to see the waterfall. Khao Mai Kaew Cave, a limestone cave on the island 10.3 km from the hotel, is worth adding, and the Monday Market makes a simple half-day outing when it is open. The Khlong Dao Muay Thai Stadium, a Muay Thai venue, is also nearby, so a day can mix the beach, the market and the forest without much planning.
