Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), where a long staircase climbs the hillside, is 6.8 km away, Krabi International Airport is 8.2 km away, and Ao Nang Beach is 10.6 km away. Railay is reached by boat from Ao Nang.

A full day could start at Tiger Cave Temple, then continue with a boat from Chaofa Pier to the islands or a drive to Ao Nang Beach, and end at the Krabi Weekend Night Market. For a stay of a few nights, Krabi Town is a practical base, with the airport and the piers both within a short trip.
