Freedom Beach, a small secluded beach away from the busiest part of Patong, is also nearby, and the Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong) is one of the best-known temples on the island. Patong's own streets, with their restaurants and shops, make it easy to spend a relaxed evening without leaving the area.

A good day could start with a swim at Patong Beach and continue to the Big Buddha, a hilltop statue overlooking much of the island, 6.2 km away. Phuket International Airport (HKT) is 25.8 km from the property. Phuket is linked to the mainland by a road bridge, so the island is easy to reach by car.
