Hatyai Backpackers Hostel

The rooms at Hatyai Backpackers Hostel are mostly dormitories with bunk beds, measuring 30 or 40 m² and sleeping one to three guests. Some of the dormitories have a city view.

The hostel also has a queen room for up to two guests, and a mixed dormitory room with a bunk bed, a balcony/terrace, a dining table and a coffee and tea maker.

Hatyai Backpackers Hostel has a bar, a shared lounge and TV area, lockers for guests and daily housekeeping. Staff speak English and Thai.

Hat Yai is a busy commercial centre for the region, and the streets around the hostel are lined with shops and markets. It is a lively part of the city for travellers who want to be close to everyday city life rather than to a beach resort.

Hat Yai Railway Station is 300 m away and the Hat Yai Bus Station is also close, so the hostel is near for arrivals by train or bus. Santisuk Market and Kim Yong Market are both nearby, as are Wat Lian Hua Ko, a pagoda, and the Night Market. The Magic Eye 3D Museum, with its 3D illusion displays, is 2 km away, and the Asean Night Bazaar Hatyai, an evening market, is also in the area. Hat Yai Municipal Park, a city park, lies close by as well.

Hat Yai International Airport is 11.1 km from the hostel. For a day out of the city, Namtok Ton Nga Chang, a waterfall, lies 26.6 km away. Most of the places above are within 2 km of the hostel, so many of them can be reached on foot.
