Kim Yong Market is 550 m away, a busy market with fresh produce and everyday goods. Hat Yai Railway Station is 1.1 km away, and Hat Yai International Airport (HDY) is 12.1 km away, so travellers arriving by train or by air can reach the area easily. Hat Yai is known for its fried chicken and southern Thai seafood, and the market streets are a good place to try both. A day out could start at Hat Yai Municipal Park, continue through the market and end at the night bazaar in the evening, when the streets fill with lights and stalls.
