Happyland Mansion

The rooms at Happyland Mansion have a king bed, a queen bed, a double bed or two single beds, depending on the room. Some rooms overlook the city, and several have a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels.

Rooms with two single beds let two travellers sleep apart, while the king, queen and double beds are one large bed each. Air conditioning and a flat-screen TV feature in some of the hotel's rooms.

Happyland Mansion has a 24-hour front desk, express check-in and check-out, and daily housekeeping. Guests have access to a shared lounge and TV area, air-conditioned public areas and an elevator, and the hotel has a business centre with Xerox and fax, a shrine and 24-hour security.

Happyland Mansion is in the Bang Kapi district of Bangkok, a part of the city that is more local than the main sightseeing core, with small parks, markets and everyday neighbourhood life around it. It is quieter than the riverside or the old city, and the metro is close by for trips into the rest of the city.

Bang Kapi MRT Station is 1.5 km from the hotel and gives access to the wider metro network, and the Yellow Line station Lad Prao 101 is nearby too. Bangkapi Market is 1.7 km away and Poonsin Garden, a local park, is also in the neighbourhood. For the old city, the Grand Palace is 16.9 km away, and Wat Arun, the riverside temple also called the Temple of Dawn, is 17.3 km away.

A full day out could start at the Chatuchak Weekend Market, 10.4 km from the hotel, which sells clothes, food and crafts at the weekend, and continue with the temples and the Grand Palace in the old city. The Khaosan Road area, a backpacker street known for its bars and street-food stalls, can be visited in the evening, and the quieter Bang Kapi district is a calm place to return to afterwards.
