Happy Nest

The property is a single house of 100 m², with a choice of bed set-ups and room for up to six guests. Air conditioning and a private entrance come with the house, which also has two bathrooms, so the space works for a group that wants its own front door and separate washing facilities.

The house comes with a hair dryer, toiletries, satellite and cable TV, heating, linens, complimentary tea and instant coffee. Guests who want to work can use the desk, and the washer is useful for longer trips.

The house has a kitchen with a stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishes and dining utensils, plus kitchen basics such as cookware, oils and condiments. Coffee or tea is provided, and the washer and iron are there for laundry.

Free parking is available at the property, and pets are allowed. Keyless access, a desk or workspace, and a balcony or terrace are part of the house, and Internet and Wi-Fi are available.

Cleaning supplies are provided for guests, and the house has a TV with cable channels, a hair dryer, heating and air conditioning. The linens and the private entrance complete the basics, and the iron and washer are useful for anyone staying more than a few nights.

The house is on Soi Ma Ruai 3 in Din Daeng, a busy part of Bangkok known as the Ratchada area, where shopping streets, markets and malls sit alongside residential lanes. Rather than the historic old city, it is an everyday Bangkok neighbourhood, with shops and food stalls close by and markets within a short distance of the house.

Phra Ram 9 MRT station, 600 m away, is on the Blue Line, and the Airport Rail Link at Makkasan station is also nearby. Chatuchak Weekend Market, 4.5 km away, is a large weekend market with clothing, crafts and food stalls, and Jim Thompson House, a museum of Thai silk and art, is 3.7 km away. Don Mueang International Airport is 17.6 km away and Suvarnabhumi Airport is 21.9 km away, and an airport transfer is also available.

A day out could start with Chatuchak Weekend Market on a weekend morning, then continue to Jim Thompson House, and in the evening the streets around Din Daeng offer street food and shopping. Wat Arun and the Grand Palace, on the Chao Phraya river, are a longer trip across town for a separate day, and the evening can end back in Din Daeng, a short ride from the Blue Line at Phra Ram 9.
