Rooms at Happy Holidays vary in size and bed set-up. Some have a double bed for two guests, one sleeps three guests with a single bed and a double bed, and one has a single bed and a king bed. Mountain views are available in several rooms, and one room has a city view, while some rooms have individual air conditioning.

Patong Beach is 400 m away, and Bangla Road, the nightlife street with bars and clubs, is 550 m from the hotel. The Jungceylon Shopping Center, a large mall with shops and restaurants, is also close by. The Big Buddha Phuket, a large statue on a hilltop, makes a good stop for a half-day outing. Further afield, Karon Beach is 4.4 km away and offers another long stretch of sand on the island's west coast, while Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), one of Phuket's best-known temples, lies 6.9 km away.

Phuket International Airport (HKT) is 23.8 km from Patong, and the island is joined to the mainland by road, so a car or taxi is the simplest way to reach the beaches and temples further out. A good day could start on Patong Beach, continue along the shopping streets and end with the cultural show at Phuket FantaSea, or head south to Karon and Kata for a quieter afternoon.
