Happy Family Villa 2 is built around villas, several of them with a view of the pool. A five-bedroom family villa of 300 m² has a pool view, and a villa with a private pool has a kitchenette and kitchenware. Several villas offer a choice of bed set-ups, and some sleep up to thirteen guests.

The grounds have a garden, an outdoor swimming pool and a hot tub, so the villa itself is a place to spend time. A crocodile and animal show is next to the villa, and the Phuket Botanic Garden and Ton Ao Yon Waterfall are also in the area. The streets around the temple have a local feel, with small shops and food stalls.

Wat Chalong, one of the island's most revered temples, is 2.4 km away, and the Big Buddha, a large statue on a hilltop, is 5.1 km away. Both sights are reached by road, so a car or taxi is the easiest way to combine them. Chalong Pier, a ferry point used for boat trips to islands off Phuket, is also nearby, and Chalong Beach is in the area too.

A day could begin at Wat Chalong, continue with the Big Buddha and finish at Patong Beach, 8.9 km away, the best-known beach on the island. Phuket is joined to the mainland by a bridge, so a taxi or hire car makes the trip simple, and Phuket International Airport is 30.5 km away, the nearest airport to the villa. In the monsoon season the sea can be rough, which may stop boat trips from Chalong Pier.
