Further afield, Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is 6 km away and is one of the island's best-known temples, while Kata Beach, a popular sandy bay, is 7 km away.

Phuket International Airport is 24.9 km from the hotel, and the island is linked to the mainland by road, so a taxi or a car can reach them. A day could start at Wat Chalong and end on Kata Beach, before returning to Patong for the evening markets and bars. Phuket Town, the island's old centre, is a longer trip but offers a different side of Phuket.
