H-Residence

The rooms at H-Residence include a 24 m² superior with a city view, a 30 m² Deluxe Triple Room and a 40 m² Executive Double or Twin Room. Bed set-ups combine single beds with a double or queen bed, and several rooms sleep up to three guests.

Some rooms have air conditioning, a desk, a hair dryer and an in-room safe box, while others have a flat-screen TV, satellite and cable channels, a telephone and a coffee and tea maker with free bottled water.

Business travellers will find business facilities and meeting and banquet rooms at H-Residence, along with luggage storage, safety deposit boxes, express check-in and check-out and a 24-hour front desk.

The hotel has a complimentary shuttle service, subject to its terms and conditions, and an airport transfer. There is free parking on site, and the building has an elevator.

H-Residence is on Soi Sathorn 11 in the Sathorn district, a busy business area of office towers, with quieter residential lanes and older neighbourhoods just off the main roads. Around Saint Louis there is a Catholic church, a shrine and the Saint Louis Hospital a few hundred metres away, so the streets close to the hotel feel more local than the main avenues. Walking around these lanes is a good way to see everyday Bangkok between the high-rise buildings.

The Saint Louis BTS Station is 600 m away and Surasak BTS Station is a short walk too, so the Skytrain gives quick links to the shopping centres of Siam and the rest of central Bangkok. Sathon Pier, 1.4 km away, is a landing on the Chao Phraya River: from the water you can reach Asiatique The Riverfront, 2.8 km from the hotel, a riverside shopping and night market complex.

A day could begin at the Grand Palace, 5.3 km away, where the Temple of the Emerald Buddha stands inside the royal complex, and then continue to the temples along the river. The Chatuchak Weekend Market is a longer trip, but it is worth the journey for a weekend morning of browsing among its many stalls.
