Ao Nang is a beach town on the Andaman coast of Krabi province, with a long bay framed by limestone cliffs that rise above the sand. The streets behind the beach hold shops, street stalls and small restaurants, and the area is lively in the evening. Green Haven Villas Krabi sits on the Ao Nang side of the bay, close to Noppharat Thara Beach, so the sea and the town are both nearby.

Ao Nang Chaloem Phrakiat Public Park is 250 m away, one of the few green spaces in the town. Nang An Pier, 750 m from the property, is the ferry terminal for boat trips to the islands nearby. Railay Beach, 5.8 km away, is reached by longtail boat and is known for its limestone cliffs, while Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), 15.4 km away, is a hilltop temple reached by a long stairway.

For a full day, take a longtail boat to Railay Beach in the morning and return to Ao Nang in the afternoon, when the Ao-Nang Landmark Night Market, 1.8 km from the property, is open for an evening meal. Tiger Cave Temple makes a good second outing, and the boat trips from the pier are the simplest way to reach the islands and the cliffs of the bay.
